A Late Music Mondays: I Like To Dance - Hot Chelle Rae

I was going to post this on my Monday but I have been up since 6am so I passed out around 10pm. I didn't want to wait till next Monday to post this so I decided to do a Late Music Mondays, Tuesday Edition. The band/ song I'm featuring for this post is I Like To Dance from Hot Chelle Rae. The first time I heard HCR, I was driving in my car and their song "Tonight, Tonight" came on the radio and I was like "Dude, this song is bangin!" When I got home I decided to look them up and I'm very glad that I did. This band has so much talent and I know they're going to go far. When I was "stalking" them I came across their music video for the song "I Like To Dance." That is one of the coolest songs you will every hear. Listening to that song makes me want to rip off all of my clothes and start dancing in my bra and panties. :D I really like how the music video has a little 80's flare to it cause I love everything that has to do with the 80's.

The only thing I don't like about the music video is that Stephanie Pratt is in it and I'm not too fond of her. Besides that minor thing the video is awesome, so is the song. Once you watch the video and listen to the song you'll understand what I mean about ripping my clothes off. If you haven't heard of this band then you are seriously missing out because their songs are amazing and the guys aren't too bad to look at either. ;)

*Hot Chelle Rae is a pop rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2005. The band consists of Ryan Follese (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Nash Overstreet (lead guitar, backing vocals), Ian Keaggy (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Jamie Follese (drums). Their debut album, Lovesick Electric, was released on October 27, 2009.[1] They are best known for their platinum hit single, "Tonight Tonight".

Hot Chelle Rae began in 2005, with a meeting between singer-songwriter Ryan (RK) and guitarist Nash. The band is named for the first "dedicated" fan, Chelle Rae, a MySpace stalker who provided the band with quite an entertaining era of online activity until her false identity was discovered and brought to light. Overstreet is the son of country music singer Paul Overstreet and the brother of actor Chord Overstreet. The Follesés are the sons of country songwriter Keith Follesé and Keaggy is the son of Phil Keaggy.

In the summer of 2007, the band opened a sold out concert for rapper Lil Jon. Later on that year, they played a string of venues at the prestigious South by Southwest music festival in Austin, Texas, and then went on tour with the band Vedera.

They were signed to Jive Records in October 2008, and then began work on their first album.

After being signed with Jive Records in 2008, Hot Chelle Rae began work on their debut album with producers Eric Valentine, Butch Walker, and Matt Radosevich. The album, Lovesick Electric, was released on October 27, 2009.

After releasing the single "Tonight Tonight", Hot Chelle Rae skyrocketed to mainstream success. "Tonight Tonight" has peaked at 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 so far.
