I REALLY want to go to Monster Mania! I've never been to a horror convention before and this looks so much fun! I'm trying very hard to find a way to be able to go, you see it's in Hunt Valley Maryland September 17Th - 19Th and I live in Utah so it's kinda hard to be able to go since I have to get the money for the convention and the plane ride and I think I have to pay for the hotel so all that said it's going to cost a lot of money to be able to go but I really want to go. I'm going to see if I can find some friends who would like to go cause I don't want to go by myself and it'll be a lot more fun to get a group of people to go. Going to this convention would be a great experience and help me grow as a horror writer. The main reason why I wanted to go to Monster Mania besides the fact that it would be fun to go to a horror convention and I haven't been to one before is Robert Englund will be there signing autographs and he is my FAVORITE actor and my horror icon. He played Freddy Krueger in all 6 Nightmare On Elm Street movies including Wes Cravens New Nightmare and Freddy vs. Jason.I swear he is the hardest working man in horror and I look up to him. He's done so much for the horror community and I respect his work. I want to be like him, I want to be the hardest working woman in horror and horror's number 1 Scream Queen. Stephen King is the Master of Horror, Robert Englund is the King of Horror and I want to be the Queen of Horror. When people think of horror and Scream Queens I want people to think of me. Going to this convention I think will put my foot in the door and help me get my career off the ground and I really want that, I really want to be able to work for FEARnet or Bloody-Disgusting. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and I'm going to try very hard to be able to go. If anyone wants to send me there let me know, I'm all up for it!! :D
