Write, Write, Write!:

Today I finally put my Barnes & Noble gift card I got for Christmas to use, I bought two writing books and I'm pretty excited about it. As you might know (if not now you do) I am in the middle of writing a book titled "The Grim Reaper" and I REALLY want to get it published after I'm done writing it. With these books I hope I can grow more as a writer and learn new things to help me be able to accomplish my goal to be a horror writer. The first book I bought is "Your first NOVEL" A published author and a top agent share the keys to achieving your dream in this book. It talks about preparations, beginning to write, the bones of your story, and fleshing out your story to name a few. The other book I got is "How to write a short story" The ultimate guide to putting it all together, in your head and on the page. Well I already have everything flowing perfectly in my head, it's getting it on the paper is the more difficult part.

That's one of the most common things in writers, it's easy for them to think of the story they want to write and how they want it to go but they just can't seem to get it on the piece of paper as easy as it was to think of in their head. I have so many ideas of books I would love to write and get published cause I think everyone in the world will love to read these type of books (wow that was a little conceded lol) If people love Stephen King then I know they would love my type of books cause that's who I base my writing ideas around but I add my very own flare to it. I've been writing ever since I was able to connect words together and I've grown some much as a writer since then. I would read my old posts I've made to see how my style of writing has changed and I can't help but think "Man, that was a great post!" and I feel proud and I get a glimmer of hope that I can actually do this. I CAN write a book and get it published I just need to stick to it and not stop in the middle and do other things. Thank you ADHD :D

I hope with these new books I got will help me accomplish my goal and to become a horror writer and to become what Stephen King has become, The Master Of Horror but I will be the Queen Of Horror. To be able to be a great writer and to get you're book published I think you need to learn from other writers, learn from the people who got their chance and had their book published. You need to take a few things you learn from each writer and make it into something big that represents YOU. That's why I search the Internet constantly trying to find other writers trying to accomplish the same goal as me so I'll be able to connect with them and get helpful advice to help me get my foot in the door. So to all you writers out there what are you're tricks to writing? How do you like to write and what helps you get the story in you're head on that piece of paper?
