Movie Review (Stephen King's IT):

This movie is the only movie I can remember scaring the shit out of me when I was little. Growing up we weren't aloud to watch scary movies cause it would give us nightmares, Momma knows best. I would sneak the movie into my room so I could watch it then I would run out crying cause it scared me lol. When I got older and into horror movies I would watch IT all the time cause I loved it and it was actually pretty good. It still has some creepy parts like when the voice is coming out of the sink saying "Help me, help me" in a disturbing voice, that part still gets me. It's about a group of kids who become friends cause their kinda the outcast in school and people nicknamed them the "Losers club" They start talking about how they each had experiences with IT, some didn't want to believe it cause it's not humanly possible for something like this to happen but it is and he's coming for you.

One afternoon their all hanging out in the woods by the dam they built looking through a old book of pictures taken in the 1800's. They turn the page and see that Pennywise The Dancing Clown is in all the pictures. The main character Bill yells out "IT!, IT!". "IT" turns the page to one page where it comes to life and he tells the kids that no matter what they do their all going to die and he is their worst dream come true and he is what nightmares are made of. I thought that was Freddy Krueger? Hmmmm.... The kids ban together and decide to kill this damn clown after all, they go down to the water cellar in the woods and catch IT and that's when Bev shoots IT in the head with a sliver "bullet". Pennywise jumps down the drain where the kids can't chase after him and makes sounds like he's dying. They all make a pact that if he's not really dead they'll come back to finish the job.

30 years later and their all grown up and guess who's back and ready to kill?! You guessed IT ha! They return to Derry all except Stan for the obvious reasons. They talk about the memories they have from beings kids and about Pennywise. Talking about how all the grown ups in Derry didn't see what was going on and they didn't know that their kids needed help, all they knew was their kids were being kidnapped nothing else. The only reason why they knew what was going on was because they could see IT and when you grow up you stop believing. The kids excuse me I mean the grown up kids head back to where they last saw IT and that's when they fight for their lives and kill Pennywise The Dancing Clown. What I didn't like about this movie was the end, when he's not in his human form as a clown he's actually a freakin spider! I mean come on! A spider, really? Whatever, I thought that part was kinda cheesy and Stephen King should of thought about something other then a damn spider. Hey he knows what he's doing cause they don't call him the Master Of Horror for nothing. I give this movie 4 1/2 out of 5 Skulls.
