Bye Bye Friday The 13Th Sequel:

According to Bloody-disgusting the Friday The 13Th sequel has been called off. Apparently everyone isn't surprised cause they thought the remake was shit, I disagree I thought the remake was awesome. Don't get me wrong I wasn't too happy to hear that they were remaking this movie cause in all the Friday The 13Th movies Jason walks he doesn't run. When I saw the trailer and it showed Jason running I was like NOOOOOOOO!!!!! Jason doesn't run he walks, that's what makes him scary cause he walks but he always catches up to you and kills you. Jason running in the movie wasn't as bad as I thought it would be once I saw the movie and I really liked it and thought they did a great job in remaking this movie. Reading the information about the sequel being a dead end they said they weren't going to do it cause the remake made $40m in it's opening weekend.

Maybe it's me but isn't $40m in the opening weekend good? I guess not, they even mentioned Nightmare on Elm Street opening up on April 30th. I'm sorry but what does the NOES remake have to do with there being a sequel to Friday The 13Th, since they were planning on having the sequel come out August 13Th 2010 which is 3 months after the remake of NOES so that doesn't have to make them paranoid with it making more money then them.

If their not doing the sequel cause their worried about it going to suck then they shouldn't be too quick to judge cause nowadays the sequel end up being better then the 1st one. Rob Zombie directed the remake of Halloween and the sequel H2, even though the remake of Halloween was awesome the sequel was ten times better so in my opinion I think they should continue with the sequel to Friday The 13Th cause it's not going to hurt since everyone in the horror community will see it regardless of how bad the first one was. I liked it and I'll go see it if they remake it.
