I have been kindly awarded the 7x7 Award by Fred from Full Moon Reviews and Maynard from Horror Movie Diary. Thank you so much guys, this means a lot! Now, onto the rules!
RULE 1: Tell everyone something that no one else knows about you.
Well, I've mentioned this on Facebook but a lot of my readers don't know this. Movies don't make me cry at all except for one movie. I can watch the most saddest movie that had everyone in tears and I wouldn't shed one. The only movie that actually makes me cry like a baby is Titanic. My friends laugh at me for that. Here I am this hardcore horror and zombie lover who likes blood and guts and I bawl while watching Titanic. I cry the most and the hardest in Titanic then I do with Edward Scissorhands. I'm also a loud crier. There is no crying softly with me, especially when I watch Titanic. To give you an idea of my type of crying is someone having a asthma attack with tears bursting out their eyes and being very, very loud. I start crying at the same spot in Titanic every single time. When it shows the water rushing in and out of the rooms throughout the hall I bust out crying. I have to hold my stomach so I won't make as loud of cries as I usually do. If you ask my sister Maegan about me crying in Titanic she would tell you that I bawl my eyes out when I watch it and I'm a very loud crier. I told her that I wanted to come with her to see Titanic in 3D and her response was "Are you sure you wanna go and cry in front of everyone?" Sad but it's true. I cried so hard in that movie I fogged up my 3D glasses. :D
RULE 2: Link to one of the posts that I personally think best fits the following categories: Most Beautiful Piece, Most Helpful Piece, Most Popular Piece, Most Controversial Piece, Most Surprisingly Successful Piece, Most Underrated Piece, and Most Pride-Worthy Piece.
Most Beautiful Piece: Dahmer (2002)
I loved, loved, loved this movie! Everything about it was amazing. Jeffery Dahmer has always been my favorite serial killer to read about. What I loved about this movie was Jeremy Renner's performance as Jeffery Dahmer. He pulls you in and you don't want him to let go. It's one of my favorite movie performances. I've mentioned before that I'm a huge sucker for the lost souls and loners. With Renner portraying Dahmer as a sympathetic, misunderstood being, it made me fall hard for him. I couldn't watch this movie and not feel bad for him. I wish he got more love and attention as a child and I wish he didn't have to feel the pain that he did. Wonderful, wonderful film. I highly suggest this movie if you're into movies about serial killers. If you haven't done any research on Dahmer then you won't know which scene was fictional and which one actually happened.
Most Helpful Piece: (Guest post by Dylan Duarte. "Remakes")I got an email from Dylan asking if he could make a guest post on my blog. I'm all for letting other bloggers guest star on my blog which is why I said yes. The reason why I chose this post as my Most Helpful Piece is because I believe in helping out other bloggers. If letting another blogger make a post on your blog helps them get their name out there and let people know about their blog then I'm going to do that. I would like people to do the same with me and help me get my name out there and get my blog more recognized so I'm going to do that for my fellow bloggers.
Most Popular Piece: Music Mondays (Christina Perri: Jar of Hearts)
I made this post after I broke up with my boyfriend that I've been involved with for 4 years. I found that he was stealing money from me and sleeping with other girls behind my back. I was pissed off and humiliated. I heard this song right after I ended things with him and got goosebumps. It's like she dated my ex and wrote a song about him. It has the most page views then my other posts, over 18,000 views. I guess all the grieving newly single girls went searching for the song and came upon this post. Thank you, Google!
Most Controversial Piece: (Leave Tim Tebow Alone!)
Out of all the posts I've made, this one is the only post that even came close to being controversial. I'm not a very controversial person cause I don't like offending people. After I posted this, I got a comment from one of my "ex-followers" totally bitching me out cause he didn't agree with me and he doesn't like Tim Tebow or believe in God. I was completely shocked when I read that comment. Not only did I consider him a friend but I was shocked that he got that mad over my post. I didn't post it to piss anyone off or offend anyone. I didn't post it because I think everyone is going to Hell cause they're sinners. I posted it simply because I'm a huge fan of Tebow and I wanted to defend him. I like to stick up for the things that I like or are a big part of my life. This is the only post that I actually got hate mail from it. I'm not a mean person! :/
Most Surprisingly Successful Piece: (Long Time No Talk)
This wasn't a review or anything special. I just posted a short paragraph on why I haven't been blogging a lot and telling people to follow me on Twitter and Facebook. It has 1457 page views and I'm like "WTF!?" It wasn't even that exciting or cool and it got that many views. I guess a lot of people can relate to writers block.
Most Underrated Piece: (Why the Shock Value is important for horror)
With only 37 page views, I'm quite sad to know that a lot of people haven't read this post. I talk about some of the most important things a good horror movie needs to provide. I understand that I posted this in August of 2010 which is why most of my readers haven't read it. Hopefully this will peak your interest and you'll check it out. ;)
Most Pride-Worthy Piece: (My love letter to Freddy Krueger)
As you all know, I am a HUGE fan of Freddy Krueger. He is hands down my favorite horror villain. Everything about him is just amazing and I think tops the rest of the horror villains. Not being able to sleep cause you know that if you do then you'll fall victim to Freddy and if you die in your dreams, you die in real life. Everyone sleeps and everyone needs to sleep. Personally, I love to sleep. I've been known to sleep for over 15 hours. I'm a dreamer and I love to dream when I sleep and daydream. Not being able to sleep cause it will kill you will drive me insane. That's the joy of being Freddy Krueger. You can make kids fear you so much that they never want to sleep and their lack of sleep drives them crazy and then usually end up killing themselves or passing out and getting killed. My love letter was to show the world my love and devotion I have for Freddy. I took his last name for a reason. ;)
